Malfegor is a demon-dragon from the Conflux set.

The cause of the Sundering that ripped the plane of Alara into five shard subplanes has been lost to time. Some believe it was caused by the titanic battle for the fate of Alara, waged by the archangel Asha and the demon-dragon Malfegor.

Some time after the Mending, Nicol Bolas contacted Malfegor and convinced him to prepare an army to invade the other shards after the Conflux.
