- Monday, September 1, 2008: MTGS staff changes — Caranthir is added as a moderator of the Clans forum.
- Friday, August 29, 2008: MTGS staff changes — votan retires as a global moderator of MTGSalvation; YuanTi is promoted to the post of global moderator.
- Tuesday, August 26, 2008: MediaWiki has been updated to version 1.13.0 and the CharInsert extension has been installed; this box, found below the edit section, summary, and "Save page", facilitates the addition of adding special characters and symbols, as well as templates and (simple) card tags.
- June 9, 2008: MTGS staff changes — PolarBearGod, moderator for the Artwork forum, passes away.

- September 10, 2007: MTGS staff changes — nan cedes control of the Standard forum to Lotus, moderator of the Legacy forums, and pooispoois joining Craven as co-moderator of the Casual forums.
- September, 2007: MTGS staff changes — JayC retires, and is replaced by Jabberwocky.
- August 4, 2007: Major MTG Salvation site maintenance and redesign.
- July 14, 2007: MTGS staff changes — Feyd_Ruin retires from his position as site technician.
- July 13, 2007: MTGS staff changes — {mikeyG} is promoted to the position of global moderator, and Kraj is made the third moderator of Debate.
- June 15, 2007: MTGS staff changes — Craven returns as a global moderator. Administrators Avatar of Kokusho, Lesurgo, and urzassedatives are due to choose a sixth global moderator; they deem "more is better".
- June 14, 2007: MTGS staff changes — Prominent member, debater, Mafia-player, former moderator (twice) Xyre retires from the forums.
- June 13, 2007: MTGS staff changes — Avatar of Kokusho is promoted to the position of administrator.
- June 12, 2007: Caselogik becomes a moderator of Market Street.
