Bury is an obsolete term that was removed from the vocabulary of Magic in the Tempest set.

From the Comprehensive Rules
  • Bury (Obsolete)
    • Some older cards were printed with the term “bury,” which meant to put a permanent into its owner’s graveyard. In general, cards that were printed with the term “bury” now read, “Destroy [a permanent]. It can’t be regenerated,” or “Sacrifice [a permanent].”

For example, in 5th Edition Wrath of God read "Bury all creatures." where it now reads "Destroy all creatures. They can't be regenerated." Tempest was the first set, excluding Portal, to omit the term. The original new wording in Tempest was "It can't be regenerated this turn.", which was later simplified to "It can't be regenerated." by 6th Edition.

Weatherlight's Urborg Justice is one such card where bury was replaced by sacrifice in the Oracle text.
