YuanTi joined MTG Salvation in early January of 2007, due to being bored of the Wizards boards. He started posting mostly in the Custom Cards forum, but also posted more frequently in the Casual and Legacy forums.

On August 29, 2008, votan retired as a global moderator,[1] and YuanTi was elected as his replacement global moderator.[2]

On February 14, 2009, YuanTi retired as member of staff.[3]

He was a member of the now-defunct clan Shatter.

In real life, YuanTi likes "girls, Magic, "other stuff", and copying other peoples jokes about writing about themselves in wikis in the third person".
YuanTi has played Magic since Alliances, which is the vast majority of his life. He stopped after Apocalypse due to his local store closing, but since Mirrodin was able to get back into the game. Where before then he had been mostly a casual player, YuanTi moved on to competitive play after Mirrodin, with varied degrees of success.
