He was added as a moderator of the Articles Discussion and the Writer's Forum after Goblinboy, a former moderator of said forums, retired in June, 2006. He is one of the three authors of Cranial Insertion.
In November 2006, he became a moderator of the Magic Rulings forum, along with Craven.

Woapalanne, along with Technomagus, has also created the deck known as "Night of 1000 Games", a.k.a. "Drive You Insane till You Sock Me in the Nose".

Woapalanne's hallmarks include self-purported absurd, inane comments; glowing, red eyes; a demonic persona; and terrorizing rancored_elf. His avatar has in the past included a Golgari insect devouring rancored_elf's avatar (for Ravnica: City of Guilds's release), and a demon snowman (for Coldsnap).
