White Weenie

White Weenie is an aggro archetype that uses relatively cheap — mostly of converted mana cost one or two — and efficient white creatures, most of which have some form of combat evasion or ability. The general aim of a White Weenie deck is to deal damage as quickly as possible, and as efficiently as possible; some White Weenie decks achieve this by utilising "pumping" enchantments, such as Crusade and Glorious Anthem.
The history of the White Weenie archetype is indefinite, however it is suggested that it was always present, since the start of Magic: The Gathering, in Limited Edition Alpha, a set which featured cards like the well-known White Knight and Crusade. The White Weenie deck still remains a popular deck design.
