He joined MTG Salvation in August of 2005, where he found the site while searching for Magic rumors online. He started playing Magic at Onslaught block, played until Scourge, then resumed playing again at Champions of Kamigawa, and quit again at Guildpact. He no longer plays Magic, and has no plans to return to the game.

In the MTG Salvation community, Spanglegluppet was a member of Stardust Siggies, a stickied avatar and sig shop in the Avatar & Sig Shops forum, and works at a card rendering shop in the Artwork forum. His favorite forum was Custom Card Contests & Games.
Spanglegluppet ran his GFX shop in the Avatar & Sig Shops forum, and is also a member of the AEther shop. He is an ex-World Project Leader for the Realms of Rome WP. Formerly, he was active around the forums, mostly in the Outside Magic and Creativity forums.

Spanglegluppet was a member of the now-defunct RBS clan, and is a friend to [499], Vagary, the Magic Coffeehouse, the Cult of Galgamek, Hyrule, and the Photoshoppers clan. He was also a former member and an honorary friend of the R&D clan.
In 2008, Spanglegluppet joined the reborn 499 clan.
