Savra was the matka (high priestess) of the Devkarin elves for two hundred years, and thus the leader of the Devkarin in the Golgari.

At the behest of her hidden master, she concocted a scheme that would allow them to gain control of four guilds at once:

• Boros: replacing their leaders with lupul.
• Dimir
• Golgari: overthrowing the Sisters of Stone Death and governing in their stead.
• Selesnaya: influencing the Chorus of the Conclave, which allowed Savra to become a member of it.

But, as soon as she succesfully joined the Chorus, she was ultimately betrayed and killed by her master.

Her body was later possesed by the Golgari parun, Svogthir; whether there was a trace left of her is unknown. Later her body was most likely crushed during the battle between Project Kraj and Rakdos.
