Rhino is a type of mammal mainly characterized by a thick armored skin and protuberant horns that grow from their nose. They can be found in multiple planes. There is only one known variation of it that can be classified as sentient beings, the rhox.

[edit] Rhox

This anthropomorphic representation of rhinos is mainly found in the plane of Alara, before the Conflux exclusively on Bant, where they usually prefer the roles of soldiers and monks.

[edit] Trivia

Originally, rhox was just a beast, but the television ads featured it as a anthropomorphic rhino warrior/soldier which was later reflected in its Tenth Edition art. Then in the Grand Creature Type Update, it was errataed as a Rhino Beast. Later on this design was used as a basis for the rhox in Alara.
