R&D wa a clan dedicated to card creation. The members of R&D try to produce full sets and blocks of custom Magic cards.

R&D was started by Eledin in October, 2005, on MTG Salvation. Though things started off slowly, the number of members steadily grew, thanks in part to R&D's open door policy.
[edit] Inactivity
R&D had slipped off the radar in terms of activity due to the inactivity of many of its members. On 24 May, 2007, member Kraj assumed control of the clan with the backing of its members. This signalled a new era for the clan, with its structure being rebuilt and its member list reset to those who were active. A new thread was created and continued the "Jupiter Project". Color leaders were designated and a new set thread for "Jupiter" was created to separate its progress from the clan thread to prevent cluttering.
More recently, member numbers dwindled, despite Kraj's efforts to revitalise the clan. On March 3rd, 2009, [R&D] closed its doors due to lack of member participation.

Jupiter was the new set being worked upon by R&D. Though R&D has not completed a full set yet, it iss currently working on a new block, which has a theme of enchantments and Aztec flavor.
