Photon Eater is one of the World Project Leaders for the Pen and Paper Inn. In addition to running the Pen and Paper Inn, he is the Clan Representative and one of the founders of Natural 20, and a regular, and former "Regular of the Week" interviewer at the Magic Coffeehouse. In the Pen and Paper Inn, Photon Eater is the resident psionics expert.

Although Photon Eater is of German descent, he is proficient in French; he took French (culture/society) classes.
Josh's boyfriend is fellow user ethersphere, also a World Project Leader in the Pen and Paper Inn; and sister Mamelon is also an active member on the site. Josh is from and resides in Coshocton, Ohio.
