Pearl-Ear was a kitsune diplomat, and a long-time ambasaddor at daimyo Konda's court in Eiganjo. She was also a friend of Yoshino, mother of princess Michiko Konda, and the princess' tutor. For Michiko, she was like a mother.
She was a sister of kitsune ranger Sharp-Ear.
