MTG Salvation (formerly Community Discussion) is a superforum for all site-related forums.
Initially, the MTG Salvation superforum had five forums; "News", "Articles", "Introduce Yourself", "Speak Your Mind", and "Technical Support". On 13 December, 2005, Hannes created a MTGS Wiki-related forum, which was — and still remains — visible only to staff members and the wiki sysops; formerly known as "The Wiki Planning Forum", this forum is now known as "Wiki Discussion & Organization".

News is a forum in which all news regarding the Magic world and site-related news is posted for discussion.
"Submit News" is a subforum of News, in which users can post a thread to submit a news item for consideration. Moderators of Submit News will manually move accepted items to the main News subforum and the front page.
