loran16 is a longtime member of MTG Salvation, who joined MTG Salvation back when the site was founded, attracted by the attention on the WotC Boards to the MTG Salvation—MTGNews split. He was never a member of MTGNews, but became a member of MTGS to comment on the rumors provided at the time (January 2005) by rancored_elf on the set Betrayers of Kamigawa.

He has been involved in the Limited forums, Mafia games, and the clan RBS, as well as the Rumor Mill.
He was also once a participant and a judge in an Feature Card Contest. His judge-work was crude and often a little brash, which he himself believes to be a cause as to why he will not be chosen as a judge any time soon.
He is also known for having written articles on Limited and Extended formats. In doing so, he and a user named "Gamer MK" have come often to disagreements at times.
