On 7 September, 2007, JayC retired from his position, citing that "now that the distraction [Magic] isn't too effective, I sold my collection and stopped hitting up the local shops, keeping in touch with the local scene – attending events, even signing on to the forums as of late. The cherry on top of my son, a failing relationship and all the other responsibilities we have in life – you know of which I speak of."[1]
