Great Aurora

The Great Aurora is an event that changes the planes of Lorwyn to its dark and twisted counterpart Shadowmoor, and vice versa. Normal Aurorae are caused by Oona, a side effect of her methods to control the plane, and with each happenstance, each aspect of the plane lasted longer. The Great Aurora happens too soon, causing Oona to take measures to maintain herself- it is caused by the Mending, which also affected the planeswalkers' sparks.

This event was ended by Oona's defeat at the hands of Maralen and her companions.
