Gorgons

Gorgons, also known as medusae, are snake-skinned humanoid women with hair made of snakes and the ability to calcify organic entities that look at the gorgon in the face. Incredibly deadly, they are thankfully rare across the planes, only known to have appeared in Dominaria and Ravnica.

• In the Arena novel, Garth One-Eye summoned an Infernal Medusa at one point.
• Visara the Dreadful was a pit fighter for the Cabal on Otaria
• In the Ravnica novel, the Sisters of Stone Death are the guildmasters of the Golgari Swarm. It is implied that more Gorgons exist on Ravnica.
