[edit] Biography

[edit] Creations

Inspired by Tourach's teachings of necromancy, Sahr altered the formulas, incorporating alchemy to create not undead but living creatures from dead flesh. It is rumored that Sahr stole the methods of thrull creation from Phyrexian technology.[1]

[edit] Thrull experimentation

The Ebon Hand embraced the thrulls as a success, and Endrek Sahr became obsessed with creating stronger and more intelligent varieties. Seeing vast potential for further uses, Endrek created the armor thrull to replace steel supplies that had run out from the dwarven empire. He also began to augment their capacity to think, creating the thrull wizard to assist in ceremonies. It's likely that he created the necrite and the mindstab thrull varieties as well as his purpose in design was to create powerful creatures that delighted in self-sacrifice.[2]

[edit] Order for execution

Sahr's ultimate creation was the derelor, an extremely powerful equine breed of thrull. The derelor required a constant supply of black mana to sustain, taxing the Order's resources. This failure prompted Sahr's execution. Endrek would not witness the Thrull Rebellion, but his mastery in design would be seen in the thrulls' capacity to destroy their masters, their creators, and all of Sarpadia itself.

[edit] Future

Thousands of years after his own execution, Endrek Sahr was among many of those granted a second chance at life thanks to the ravaging rifts in time in Dominaria's post-apocalypse era. This time-displaced copy of the wizard would bear witness to the grizzly remains of Sarpadia and the ruins his thrulls wrought, but whether he remained there or disappeared with the rifts remains unknown.[3]
