2005 MTG Salvation Forum Awards

The Forum Awards are an annual contest where members can nominate and vote for the best member in various categories, like "Most Helpful User" and "Best Signature". Moderators nominate members for the more specific categories, while all the members of the site can nominate for several more general categories. Winners are rewarded with a special trophy. Although the Awards are often criticised for being a shameless popularity contest, they are still well liked and always an exciting time for some members.
The first Forum Awards on MTG Salvation were held during December 2005, almost one and a half year after the official founding of the site.
This 2005 Forum Awards consisted of 34 categories. Winners are bolded among the nominees. Original comments by Goblinboy from the voting threads are copied when possible.
